50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/Ungstrup. Pours clear and golden deep amber to hazzlenut brown with a small off white head. Aroma is estery and banana fruity. Dark roasted malt too. Mild acidic and dark roasted malty. Ends dry and estery finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark amber with a slight haze and a dense beige head. Sweet banana, caramel and overripe fruit in the nose. Medium body, banana, caramel and yeast. Even a whiff of hops in the finish. Nice alright. 261010

Bottled (from BierZwerg.de). Golden colour, mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, some slight bready notes, mild fruityness as well as some slight grassyness. Flavour is sweet malts, some slight fruity and grassy notes along with mild spicyness. A pleasant balance.

500 ml bottle, as Kloster Scheyern Kloster-Export Dunkel , from Rewe Getränkemarkt, Erding. ABV is 5.4%. Mahogany coloured beer, moderate off-white to beige head. Moderate aroma of brown bread. The flavour is moderately malty with notes of caramel and brown bread, but it is not too sweet. Just enough hops to make this a fairly well-balanced and drinkable dunkel.

Bottle. Malty yet clean aroma. Some honey. Pale gold with a fine head. Malty flavor with biscuits and fruit, and a bit of cardboard and honey. Low hops, though there is a slight peppery finish. Not so special.

Clear pale yellow, large white head. sawdusty faint sweet malty aroma. flavor is dry, slighlty bitter, quite malty. sweet, malty, dry. I didn’t find it very tasty.

Bottle. It presents a clear, copper body under a finger-thick beige head. Caramel, hints of dried fruits, a faint touch of dms and some roasted malts in the aroma. The flavor is sweet, with caramel and dried fruits. Some roasted notes, coffee-style. Sweet and bitter finish. A full-bodied beer that feels a bit sweet initiall, but dries up quite quickly. 100327
