Clear amber color, small white head. Diacetylic, butterscotchy aroma with grainy and cat piss hoppy notes. Flavor has also diacetyl plus malty-ryeish flavors. Some caramelly-toffeish notes. Typical biere de garde, but a bit too much ruined by diacetyl.

Bottle. 75cl. Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, notes of nutty, red wine, fruity, sour sweet. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet, light acidic, bitter and acetic with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (120308)

Bottle from Auchan, Calais, drunk at Chris_o’s HogTownHarry meet up. Gold beer with thick white head. Bit of pukey lagery malt on aroma. OK in mouth, but pukey too. Pretty bad.

Corked bottle. Beautiful golden color; thin creamy head. The aroma is malty, light, perfumy. The flavor is quite simple, with some malt and sweetness. Ok.

I thought this beer is "BITA" :) ... difficult to read the odd letters. Amber color, small white head. Licorice and toffee in the nose. Interesting crisp mouthfeel with woody and salted licorice flavors. Same time kind of refreshing - not very full-bodied or complex. Some hard water in the finish. Unique French.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear lively amber, rich head. Aroma of butterscotch with a touch of grass. Dryish, light and lively. Mild, yet complex with spun sugar, caramel and some grassy hops. Feels very genuine and posseses a soothing, laid back quality. Subtle excellence!

(Draught at Au Trappiste, Paris, 15 Oct) Golden yellow colour with huge frothy white head. Very lively, lots of carbonation. Fruity nose with spices, clove and a hint of Seville orange. Fruity taste with citrus (orange, Seville orange), spicy hoppy notes and balanced sweetness. Nice and spicy.

Bottled. Clear deep golden, small head. Buttery aroma. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel. The very low hop rate put all the focus on the malt. The malt profile doesn’t stick out, but caramel and butter is there, and it offers a laid back but solid back bone. A well made beer that doesn’t stick out.

Bottled. Clear pale amber, no head. Arona of crystalized sugar. Sweet and medium bodied with vague notes of toffee and citrus. Very discrete and light flavoured with cellary notes and honeyish finish.
