(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a beautiful, clear pilsener golden with a small, white head. Aroma of brewing syrup. Sweetish, malty body with notes of chicken fodder. "The champagne of beers", the label promises, and it does indeed look pretty in its clear bottle, but this really is just another American Pale Lager. 060406

(Can 70,9 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Aroma of nothing but brewing cereal. Considering the alcohol, the body is surprisingly thin. Sweetish accents of corn and rice - chicken fodder. The alcohol is deceptively well hidden. A somewhat chemical tang in the finish. 010406

Here’s what you do, pick two beers out of the 1000 or so awesome beers rated on this site. Once you’ve thoroughly enjoyed those you won’t mind the one dimensional flavor (sweet sweet malts) this discount beer offers. In fact you’re likely to have a great time. Imbibe, enjoy.

Golden amber in color with a foamy white head. Little to no aroma if any was a sweet malt. Thick malt flavor.

(Can 70,9 cl) Can only claims 6% ABV. Pours clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Aroma of brewing syrup. Incredibly thin, sloppy and watery body. Lightly malty with some odd, peppery notes. No real bitterness. Fascinated by the alcohol in a beer this thin. 310306

(Can 71 cl) Pours pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Sweet aroma of brewing cereals. Light and watery body with sweet malt and some oh so typical notes of brewing syrup, rice and corn. No bitterness. Typical US macro. Sad. 280306

Rating #800!!! And enjoyed from a clear 40, homiezz. I tried to swig it straight from the bottle like a propa G, but that just didn’t give me the right feel for it. So into a glass. Pours with at least a little color, but with all the character and head of a 7-Up. Smell is mostly, um, wet beer; touch of malt and mostly adjunct. And that’s pretty much the taste. Manufactured more than brewed, carbonated like a soda. No real taste to get in the way of alcohol… but I just can’t bring myself to give it the 0.5 I thought it’d deserve. First off, for a malt liquor it’s no stronger than most other beers. And yet I’m getting numb-faced trying to get through this bastard. And frankly, it’s no more than I could expect from a malt liquor. No skunk, no spoilage (probably no hops). Just an alcohol delivery system with no taste to get in the way.

How could I forget this travesty of a beer? Cheap, watery, and pretty much only good for shotgunning them. Pathetic attempt at a beverage.

Bottled. Draft? Fizzy, pale golden with a diminishing white head. Strange aroma that reminds me of corn and tinned mushrooms. The flavor is just bad and the finish the same. Corn and DMS and a hint of bitterness. (060408)
