Description
Since 1996, our brewing philosophy has been quite simple – to brew memorable, well balanced and flavourful beers, regardless of the style.
From light and crisp, to malt forward and smooth, all the way to loaded with hops… each of our brews are crafted using 100% malted barley, the finest hops, water and yeast.
Founded in Kelowna, BC, now brewing in our expanded facility with Big Rock Brewery in North Vancouver’s Brewery Creek district, drop by if you’re in the neighbourhood and we’ll show you first hand how we make great beer.

Canada: Pours a bronze color with a whitish head. Aroma is sugar and citrus hops. Beer is quite hoppy and bitter towards the back, but the aftertaste is actually rather mellow. Plenty of sugar is to be had. There is definitely a bit of booze to be tasted here. A generic dIPA.

Strong bitter taste with a medium body. Strong smell of hops, not too much complexity but decent. Worth having again.

Draught at Pats Pub. Amber and clear but a little dull. There is a lot of vanilla in this one. It has a light malty character. Thin head. Fairly simple overall - while many BC brewers have progressed, Tree is still living ten years ago making poorly-executed gimmick beers. Too bad.

More spice than ale, this one has a light brown colour with little head and that funky aroma of vegetables that you often get from the "spice/herb" department of things. The taste is too weird and spicy without any "beer" let’s say to back it up - it’s missing balance and like so many other spiced brews, lacks a good mouthfeel. I wouldn’t try it again.

Hazy amber, beige head. Allspice nose. Subdued allspice and cloves in a pumpkin palate, not overly sweet like most.. Light but noticeable hop finish.

A hazed dark reddish amber DIPA with a thin big bubbled light mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with resinous dank hops, treacle. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with dark fruits, resinous hops, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle from lcbo, 2011.

Bottle from Westminster Liquor Store in Penticton
Dark mahogany color, hazy; the head reduces quickly. Strong aroma of caramel, with some oxidization. Caramel flavor, with moderate residual sweetness and low bitterness; not bad, but missing a bite.
