Nice ! Made it to Ontario (it says on their website) LCBO in a bomber. Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a creamy off-white head that stays a long, long time, creating bubbly lacing. The aromas are a nice mix of the hop (pine, grapefruit), sweet malt (caramel) and notes of nuts. Pretty much the same is found in the taste. A nice dry finish with the hop, lingering, but not over excessively. Again, well-balanced with the caramel malt, burnt sugars. This is really easy to drink and does not hit the extreme of Double IPAs.

Okay amber-brown body with modest carbonation and barely any head. Lots of IPA hops on the nose, plenty of sweetness and bitterness and just downright tastiness. Flavour is a nice mix of hoppiness and a dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable, but hard to differentiate from a well crafted "normal" IPA, let’s say.

Almost no head, dark amber-black body. Aroma of leather, oak, barley. Flavour is mostly barley with a bit of a sweet finish. Very watery palate. I don’t know how BC brewers get away with such watery products - they’d be beaten senseless in other parts of the world!

Creamy white head that doesn’t disappear too fast, decent dark gold body with no carbonation visible. Slight aroma of grain, armpit, particle board, bread, some cashew nuts. Taste is peas and corn with an alcoholic finish. Something’s missing here.

The nose smells like it has too much ginger and overly spiced. The mouth shows the nose was actually much subtler than the taste. Massive ginger, nutmeg, full bodied and rich. Just way over spiced. Should be Over Spiced Reserve Ale. The nutmeg and ginger just linger on the palate. Not balanced and definitely a bit of a disaster, though not without some merit.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a white head. Vanilla and chocolate on the nose. Flavour of light cocoa, vanilla, bread malts and a touch of cinnamon. Light-bodied and not overly stimulating, though decent.

Bottled (shared by brunnsbe, thanks!). Very deep amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is mild ashes, some toasted notes raspberries and also some strange sweetish notes. Flavor is raspberries, ashes, some roasted malts, mild red berries as well as some slight toffeeish notes.
