Flaska från SB. Svart vätska med kaffebrunt skum. Kaffe, choklad och lite brödig doft. Röda bär återfinns i smaken tillsammans med en låg syrlighet. Lätt gräddig munkänsla. Generisk 13-på-dussinet-stout.

Flaska från SB, julöl 2013. riktigt mörkt brun, lågt snabbt försvinnande beiget skum. En engelsk stout vilket ofta och så även här är en välrostad men lätt och syrlig sak. Dessutom relativt torr. Ett år gammal och känns åldrad vilket är på gott och ont. Kroppen bär inte riktigt de sötare smakerna och den blir då lite platt. Mörka plommon, madeira, soja, svartvinbärssaft, choklad, mörkt bröd. fina rostade smaker men trots det lättdrucken vilket jag sympatiserar med men eftersmak dör väl fort. Trots det ganska trevlig.

Bottle. Nose is caramel, slight toffee, red berries slight brown sugar. Taste is malt, biscuit leading to light smoke and caramel and red berries in the slightly herbal finish with a touch of metallic. Mouthfeel a little thin. This is a decent bitter.

Bottle. Nose is corriander, yeast , lemon. Taste is wheat, corriander, cloves, leading to a dry very watery finish. Mouthfeel is dry and ruined by the finish. A poor example of the style with a dreadful watery note.

33cl bottle from Systembolaget. Near black, thick lasting brown head. Chocolaty aroma, roasted malt, chocolate cake, licorice. Flavor has mudcake, licorice, coffee, roasted malt. Very smooth. Nicely balanced, full body for this abv. Long roasted, slightly ashy finish. Nice surprise!

Bottle at kaos malmø Nr 2 at TripAdvisor. Nice beer selection for a rest. Strong aroma of malts and sweet licorice. Flavor is roasted malts and licorice very full flavor and very impressive for such a low Alc put.

Bottle. A super-slow gusher, producing a dense, finger-thick white head over an unclear, orange-golden body. The aroma has orange peel and some coriander, with some grass and yeast hints. Pale malts too. Pale malts, bitterness, a generic fruityness, some coriander, grass and lemon zest in the flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation. Lasting finish. Nothing impressive going on, but it’s easy drinkable. Quite tasteful too. 140815
