Description
Set up by Wim van der Spek and Sue Cooper, commencing production in June 2005. All beers are vegan friendly and all but a few are certified organic. Most are available on cask and bottle conditioned.

26th September 2008. Soft almost creamy bitter with a very mild hop profile. Not a bad beer just pretty bland.

Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, virtually none appearance, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, gineger. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, gineger. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat to soft. [20090804]

Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, old apples. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. One-third pint, cask from Bar UnsusuALE, GBBF 09. Had it while listing to the Oysterband at the festival. Golden-yellow body. Citric aroma. Malt-fruity taste. Spicy bitter finish (Earls Court, 06.08.2009).

(Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester, 25 July 2009) Golden colour with creamy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, toffee and a touch of grass. Fruity taste with notes of citrus and grass. Rather light body, mainly dry. Moderate bitterness. Hardly exciting but decent.
