Description
Set up by Wim van der Spek and Sue Cooper, commencing production in June 2005. All beers are vegan friendly and all but a few are certified organic. Most are available on cask and bottle conditioned.

Cask@GBBF2009. Hazy yellowish golden colour with small white head. Aroma is fruity hops along with some lemon and mild herbal notes. Flavour is quite much the same. I don’t find that much wheat in it, but if there was it would probably be a quite good belgian wit, since the rest of the elements are there...

Cask@GBBF2009. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, grassy and also has some floral hops. Flavour is quite much the same with the focus on the grass. Not very exciting.

Cask@GBBF. Clear golden color, not much head. Grainy, ginger aroma. Flat mouthfeel. Flavor has ice tea, ginger and then some hops in the aftertaste.

Cask@GBBF. Clear yellow color, small white head. Lemony dishwater cleanser aroma, some "hard water", minerals. Sweet lime-sugar flavor. Some lemony bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite light and harsh, woody notes.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel apple, tobacco. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090718] 5-3-6-3-12 Cask (handpump) @ Market Porter, 9 Stoney Street, Southwark, London, Greater London, England SE1 9AA.Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, malt sour, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, malt acrid. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. RBESG Sheffield 2009, day 3, Smithfields Hotel, Manchester. Cask, cellar run. Clear golden colour, no head. Aroma of citrus, cooked vegetables, flavour is the same, light bitter finish. Yuck, worst beer so far on this trip..

Cask handpull at Market Porter, London, Pale chestnut, lasting beige head. Quite a nice biscuity malty best bitter. Bit of vinegar on aroma. But ok.
