Sampled on draft this beer poured a red-amber color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma was light tangy malts. The flavor was light tangy and nutty malts. Nothing special but easy drinking.

Can 0,5l. Deep red/black coloured. A small creamy head. Quite pretty. Aroma of coffee and liquorice. The coffee and liquorice dominate the flavor accompanied by a burnt bitter aftertaste. Very "smooth" and easy drinkable. One of the better canned beers.

Draught. Not much aroma here, what there was was faintly malt. Creamy body malty with notes of chocolate and coffee. Quick but nice finish. Pours black into the glass with a tan head.

Happy St. patty’s 07!!!....draught can into glass...almost black in color...nice tan head...looks like a guinness for sure...the taste is very similar as well ...molasses and raw coffee...and a nice bitter aftertaste yet smooth all at once...I keep comparing to guinness because its such a well known staple as far as draught stout cans go...it has more of a silkier mouth feel...dare I say I like it better...well I do...:)...its all about the coffee in stouts for me... the more, the merrier I am

Red brown colour. No or little head. Malty aroma. Nice flavour, a bit bitter, a bit fruity. Nothing spectacular but tasty and a good beer for a session.

Bottled
Clear amber color, small head. Malty, bready, slightly harsh aroma. Malty and unbalanced bready flavor. Harsh, grassy hops in the finish. Not really in its (default) style, but at least has some taste in it - not all pale lagers are doing this.

bottle - Pours amber with a thin head and a light aroma of caramel malts. The flavor is caramel malts with a decent hops bite. It goes down easy and is on the thin side with a lightly hoppy finish. It lacks character, but it’s not bad.
