568 mL can thanks to chinhaez! 2020 vintage at 12.2 abv. Thick looking viscous black, thin tan head. Aroma of roast, oats, cherry, maple, nuts. Taste is roast, chocolate, maple, vanilla, caramel. Some nuttiness in the finish. Full bodied. Very sweet but the booze balances somewhat. Nice.

Not as barrel forward or thick as I remember the previous iterations. But still delicious and fantastic sipper. Sad this was delivered not during snow season in Texas haha, but great vanilla forward mild roast finish, medium body and light booze.

Stovepipe can. Blackish pour with a small beige head. The aroma is strong with Whiskey, caramel, vanilla, toffee and perhaps a trace of maple. The taste very sweet with lots of toffee in the forefront and whiskey, vanilla and maple filling in the back and sides. The palate is thick and viscous. Carbonation is soft. Paired very well with some alpine Emmental cheese. The sharpness of the cheese cut the sweetness nicely. Overall: A tad too sweet for me to make this a regular drink, but I do appreciate it as a well made stout.

Drank on the auspicious occasion of an incoming blizzard. I just might get snowed in. Stovepipe can. Opaque dark brown-nearly black-pour with a small beige head that quickly dissipates to a fine ring. The aroma showcases anise, cocoa and sweetened coffee. Taste follows the nose, no surprises. Palate is thick and syrupy with soft carbonation. Overall: first rate impy. This beer kicked my ass, now I have to carry in firewood while drunk. Damn. Pairs well with some Reggiano shavings. late: but I noted my can says 12.3& abv, and not the 13.3 listed on this site. Another late edit: I think ill drainpour the last two ounces so my liver can survive. done

Taste at Beasts & Brews. Pours a clear, golden color, with a medium, frothy, off-white head. The nose is bread dough, wet grass, pine, and butterscotch. Yeasty and a little dry. Light body, with a creamy, clingy mouthfeel. This is a clean and simple lager, but quality.

Stovepipe can. Aroma has notes of chocolate, coffee, licorice, wet stone, earth. Pours like motor oil with a thin beige head. Taste is moderately sweet with a light bitter edge. Lots of chocolate and coffee flavor. Only a hint of bourbon and barrel character. Yummo.

Thinner than last year, I think, but more pastry vibes, I think. Hard to remember considering how stupid long in some ways but short in others this year has felt. Gnarly amounts of chocolate bourbon brownies and coconut. Still gotta visit this tap room!
