Imperial pint can, 2020 vintage. Rich roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate, coffee, mocha, vanilla, bourbon and oak. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and a very thin ring of lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt, oak, mocha and coffee flavors as well as having a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with chocolate, vanilla and bourbon flavors as well as another hit of roast at the very end. Still wonderful after 5-ish years.

a: dark black coloured body with an oily glow | almost no head at all
a: soy sauce | deep cacao | light cherries (duh!)
f: rich prunes | soft brewed coffee | raisins at finish
t: tart cherries | vanilla | creamy finish (albeit very filling)
o: pungent (but polished for sure over time) | good fruit aspect (was expecting less) | why would you do this to a person (19,2/oz can @ 13,4% abv)!?!

Had by mistake as it’s a guest draft at Crazy Mountain. But alas if I must. Amber pour and foamy head. Nos eis pine and some citrus. Tatses of sweet oranges, lemon, pine, aerosol, thin bodied.

GABF 2022. Light and fairly dry. This is lightly hopped with dry malt and it is refreshing and easy drinking but doesn't get to the flavor, palate or aroma of quality Czech or German pilsners. enjoyable in its own way but doesn't stand against better examples.

Bottle (2017 vintage) pour courtesy of Adam Chandler--thanks Adam (even if I haven't met you!). It's a deeply hazy light brown (pale cider) with light sparkle, ring of off-white head with no lacing. Aroma is strong lime/tequila, mild malts. Taste is strong green apple, lime, hint of tequila. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, perhaps you shouldn't let this sit 5 years! Given that, still fairly drinkable. Well made but not my thing.

650 ml bottle thanks to Adam chandler after it sat at the camp for years. 2017 vintage. Aroma shows Apple and lime. Thin body. For as old as it is it’s not really that bad. Aged to perfection!!

2017 bottle drunk 7/30/22. Clear, honey-peach. Low head retention on small, white bubbles. Fruity as fuck with lime, vanilla and such. Some honey but quite a bit of lime....peachy-papaya. Limey, apple-papaya. But mostly apple. Like an apple cinnamon cider gone almost bad. Rather light-bodied. Really nothing good going on here. Thanks, Adam!

Thanks Adam wish you were here. Aroma is apple hint of cinnamon. No tequila per se. Great palate cleanser.
