Pours a very nice near black from a bottle, thick khaki colored head. Aroma is chocolate, a little spicy pepper. Flavor is a quick chocolate followed by the heat of the peppers. Good beer.

650 ml bottle, 2016 vintage. Pitch black/ deep brown. Aroma is strong with coffee, mild chocolate notes, decent mild Bourbon.

The flavor starts with the chocolate backbone. Coffee is more noticeable in the aroma as opposed what I am tasting. The palate/ mouthfeel is medium plus. A good amount of bourbon, to include the bourbon heat.

Bomber from the discount shelf. The label says it was brewed in 2013 in batch 1. Bright, cloudy, orangish-yellow color, with a big, bubbly, beige head. Off-dry, with a hint of bitterness and some light, fruity tartness. Light to medium body, velvety, thick, creamy, and luxurious. This is a really nice saison. Seems to have handled the time on the shelf with considerable grace! Nicely dry, effervescent, and aromatic.
