From a 22 oz bottle. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Light citrus aroma. Flavors of lime and oak with tequila notes. Medium bodied. Refreshing slightly bitter finish.

Tap at CK - hazy gold - lively, effervescent body, with a thick, frothy lace - nice texture - very soft and frothy in the mouth - strong, assertive hop profile on top of the.soft wheat tones - the spice.mixture works well with the.aggressively bitter hops, although the coriander is a bit strong - bitter finish, with citrus and melon rind - a tad bit abrasive, but a pretty good white ipa.

Tap at CK - hazy orange - nose has a nicely complex brett funkiness, complimented well by the subtle touches of the barrel - flavor begins with a mild tartness, along with moderate barrel character, grape must - the funk arrives through the middle, along with some moderate peppery phenolics - the texture is a little watery, which is disappointing - and the finish has an almost.boozy quality to it that I am having a hard time getting past - thankfully this dissipates a bit after it warms and it becomes apparent that it is a spicy phenol mixing with the wine character that creates this sensation - a mixed bag.

Bottle thanks to Tom. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is candy sugar, caramel, raisin. Thin mouthfeel with nice caramel, and boozy finish.

Dark brown. Aroma is full of cinnamon and dried chile, touch of chocolate. Spicy, lots of cinnamon, sugar, chile, rich chocolate. Okay I really like this, it’s rich and balanced.

Pour at SAVOR. Dark brown color with a small, light tan head. Aroma was roasted notes, chocolate, roast, vanilla character. Flavor was some light spice notes, spiced cake notes, cinnamon, and some chocolate notes. Pretty darn tasty.

Pint draft at the brewery tasting room in Denver, Colorado. The pour is a darker brown black, hazed with a well formed 1/2 inch tan head. The aroma is caramel toffee sweet, roast, and earthy pine. The taste is the nose, balance between soft sweet caramel toffee, soft roast and the earth and pine dry out the end. The palate is medium bodied, crisp carbonation clean finish. Nice one.

Pint draft at the brewery tasting room in Denver, Colorado. The pour is a hazed darker copper brown with a 1/2 inch white head. The aroma is faint, what is present is caramel with light roast and a bit of mineral. The taste is the nose, nice balance of softly sweet caramel, touch of roast, and clean dry finish of mineral. The palate is light bodied, soft carbonation and the clean finish. Nice enough.

Bottle at Dean’s Pale Lager tasting, Den Haag. Poured a deep mahogany with a frothy but short lived tan head. The aroma is fruity roasted malt and chocolate. I really don’t get the chilli up front. The flavour is big spicy pepper chilli. It really overpowers the beer but I’m not complaining. Some people will not be able to drink this though. A medium bodied dry spiced pepper palate. Wow... Did I say this was spicy?

Bottle shared thanks to Mrhangover. Pours dark brown with a thick beige head. Aroma of massive chillis, light chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, mint aspects coming out but dominated by the peppers in the palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
