Nice, easy-drinking cider. Lightly jammy. Low funk, some bitter skin, mild must. Spritzy carbonation. Balanced finish. Just enough complexity.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Orangey golden colour, white foamy head that dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of apple, meaty farmhouse funk. Taste is sweet, ripe fruit, appley, caramel, musty, with orchard floor, leather, farmyard funk, and bittersweet tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium sweet drying tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Taste is sweetish, fruity apple, fleshy, some skin, with orchardy funk, some acidity and drying tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry funky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Taste is sweet, appley, caramel, fruity, with leathery funk, meaty note, alittle tartness and spicy tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium-sweet tangy tart tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Neal’s Yard. Pours mostly clear, rich honey-gold, effervescent, with a fizzy off-white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of ripening apples, decent musty cellar funk, bitter peel and grass. Light to medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Sweet finish, more ripening, almost gooey apples, more funk, musty hay bales. Good stuff.

750ml bottle from Hop Burns & Black. Slightly cloudy orange amber colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, juicy, leathery funk. Taste is sweet, fruity, apple, orange juice note, with some farmhouse funk, and mellow bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Taste is sweetish, tart, apple, fleshy, woody, alittle acetic funk, some acidity and drying tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry earthy tannic finish. Ncelyh drinkable.
