0,5l can from Yeme in Bratislava. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is gold, light hazy. Aroma is bready, nice hoppy, bit caramel. Taste is medium malty base, bready, nice balanced harmonic bitterness, bit spicy, medium carbonation, good for the style, enjoyed for sure.

500ml Can - Golden with a foamy white head. Grapefruit, grapes and some notes of bread and grain in the aroma. Grapefruit, grass, grapes, citrus and pine can all be detected in the taste. Relatively subdued and subtle for the style but still assertive enough to make its presence felt.

500ml Can - Golden with a very foamy head. Grassy aroma with some noticeable notes of herbs. Bread, grass, herbs and faint notes of orange and aniseed in the taste.

500ml Can - Hazy light orange with a white head. Floral and grassy aroma with hints of orange peel and honey. Refreshing taste notes of orange, grass, rye bread and faint hints of caramel. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

Tap at U Járy. Hazy golden body, off-white thick head. Bit minerally, soft, yeasty and herbal aroma. Bit floral, herbal, rubbery, mildly fruity. Soft maltiness, almost slightly creamy, low bitterness. Atypical but kinda nice.

0,5 can. A beautiful can with many idea. The beer is filtered (perhaps a little opal) golden, with large white head. The aroma of New Zealand hops is excellent: floral, resinous, quite intense, with a tropical fruity lime effect. Taste: well...they didn't skimp on the hops :) Lucky...Astringent, lime-like, bitter base flavor, along with a complex, real hop-bomb! Medicinal aftertastes, resinous... everything that can be described about hops... The hoppiness almost makes your mouth pucker... This is no child's play! Highly recommended for hop-lovers, hats off to our Czech colleagues!!! (it didn't get more points due to the icy watery effect.) For me, this is not a classic pale ale, but the basic ale category with hardcore hops. According to them, this is what a New Zealand Pale Ale looks like :)
Ötletes szép doboz. A sör szűrt (picit talán opálos) arany, nagy fehér habbal. Az Új-zélandi komlók aromája remek: virágos, gyantás, elég intenzív, mellette trópusi gyümölcsös lime-os hatású. Íz.: nos...ebből nem spórolták ki a komlót :) Szerenécse... Fanyar, lime-os, keserű alapíz, mellette összetett, igazi komló-bomba! Gyógyszeres mellékízek, gyantás... minden, amit a komlókról le lehet írni.. Szinte összehúzza a szád a komlóssága... Ez nem gyerekjáték! Komló-imádóknak kiemelten ajánlott, le a kalappal a cseh kollégák előtt!!! (icipici vizes hatás miatt nem lett több pontszáma.) Számomra ez azért nem klasszikus pale-ale, hanem a hardcore-komlós alap ale-kategória. Ezek szerint ilyen egy New-Zeland Pale Ale :)

Tap at Malto, Riccione, Italy. Pours golden, fairly transparent, with medium grained white foam. Aroma is cereal, biscuity, a little herbaceous. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderate-to-medium bitter, with just a hint of cereal sweetness behind. Final is average, still partially bitter.

Pours dark golden to the lightest orange, translucent through light, quite hazy for the style. Medium sized quite frothy white head, shows excellent retention and very nice lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: malty base of cereal and straw, a hint of wort reminiscence, a pretty strong floral, slightly grassy hoppiness, with only the lightest citric hint. Taste notes follow the aroma quite closely: malts as per aroma, strong floral bitterness a bit too dominant for my liking, covering potential freshness. Overall still well defined. Medium sweetness, medium to high bitterness; a light bitter edge in the mouth, quite vivid bittering, dry finish. Light to medium bodied, low to medium, slightly small bubbled carbonation; slightly on the fuller edge for a svetly but still easily drinkable, more or less what i'd expect in a 12. Not at all bad, but not as satisfying as i was hoping.

Can on the Frontier Brush, Wingman pick up, 08/06/24. Clear deep amber with a good sized frothy off whire head. Nose is stewed fruits, raisins, biscuit, fruit loaf. Taste comprises brown bread, darkmalts, herv, fried fruit rinds, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad for the style.
