50cl can, pours a clear bright golden with a large white head. Aroma brings out bright spicy hops, straw, and light metallic notes. Flavour is crisp, with lots of biting spicy Saaz hops, grassiness, and crisp biscuity malt. Crisp, clean, and well-hopped. Very good.

On tap at Vinohradský, pours an opaque peachy yellow with a tiny, bubbly white head. Aroma has washed out earthy hops and yeastiness. Flavour is chalky and washes out, with plenty of earthiness, chalk galore, and some floral hops. Very poor hop expression, muddled hop palate. Very little to appreciate here. Terrible.

On tap at Vinohradský, pours a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is full of bitter piney good, metallic notes, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour has piney hops, gentle butter, and crisp biscuity malt. Clean that butter up and you have a decent beer; as is, this isn’t working for me.

On tap at Vinohradský, pours a cloudy dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma has plenty of dank hops, toasted malt, earthy notes, and a touch of coffee. Flavour has a nice hop-forward character, with earthy, toasted malt and some roast. Never had fresh Czech hops, but this is pretty invigorating. Good stuff.

On tap at Vinohradský, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has light grassiness, corn, vegetable notes, straw, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour has a herbal hop character, straw, and crisp biscuity malt. Too herbal and lacking crispness. It’s alright.

Tap at VP with mcberko. Murky orange-golden, flimsy head going away soon. Stale tropical fruit, oats, lychee. Lean, dry, heavily oaty taste, ice tea,.more oats, dry, low astringency. I mean... had far worse.

Tap at the brewpub with mcberko. Almost clear golden body, off-white head. Bit creamy citric aroma, vaguely resinous, brown sugar, lightly caramelly, weird. Smooth, dry, bit of diacetyl, stone fruit, dry herbal finish, low bitterness. For Vinohradský's standards, a no.

Tap at the brewpub with mcberko. Very dark brown body, tan head. Pleasantly nutty aroma, herbal, brown sugar. Lean, dry taste, minerally, herbal, smooth, nutty, smooth, bit flat, dry, light astringency, some bitterness. Rubín is not the most common of hops, single hops are rare let alone fresh single hops so this was appreciated, but... It didn't shine.
