12 oz bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is mildly sweet biscuit with a hint of bitter hops. Flavor is fairly dry with biscuit and honey. Hops come across as slightly metallic but grow much more citrusy as it warms. A solid pilsener.

Bottled (BB 03/2009, alc. 4.0%, Vasa session). Golden color, small white head. Diacetylic, grainy aroma. Light palate. Light diacetyl flavor, quite grainy, cardboardish and weak mouthfeel. Useless.

0,5 lt Bottle. Golden color with a fine white head. Sweet malty aroma and flavor with some moderate bitter notes. Way inferior to Pilsner Urquell.

A pretty basic beer. Its not bad for what it is going for, but it is quite forgettable.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a white head. Weak aroma of grain and some fruit. Flavor is clean malty with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Pretty straightforward, drinkable but nothing special.

Overall Impression: One of those beer that everyone has had, that just OK, and not much more...
Its a pretty good way to judge someones beer knowledge. If you hear the sentence "I only drink good beer like Pilsner Urquell" you can go ahead and assume they haven’t actually tried good beer.

Small white head quickly disappears. Pale yellow body with light carbonation. Resiny buttery grainy aroma. Sweetish buttery resiny taste with apple and flour notes. Light body. Watery mouthfeel. Dry papery resiny corn aftertaste. Quite nice. Highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle from some corner store in Prague.)
