On tap from the wood in the brewery cellars during brewery tour, Pilsner Urquell, Pilzen, Saturday 20th January 2024. Pours golden with a white head, there is a some haze, looks gorgeous. The taste is fabulous, absolutely wonderful, fantastic mouthfeel, stunning bitterness, fresh, crisp, amazing, what a Pilsner, lovely lemon edge, the bitterness really runs and runs. Stunning beer.

On tap pours out crisp clean straw topped with a white head. Nose light grain and some sweetness. Taste is more of the light grain and grass notes.

Tap at Spravovna. Yup, had this month's Volba after next month's... Very dark brown body, everlasting thick beige head. Creamy-citric aroma, malty, caramelly. Lean, soft taste, coconut, caramelly, creamy, some mild apricot jam. Actually not bad. Not great, bit buttery, but some nice vibes.

Welp, on tap at The PUB 13, sooner than I expected to be honest. Clearish pale golden body, pretty lasting white head. Initially tropical aroma, bit citric, later moving to coconut, quite complex, sweetish. Lean taste, slightly too smooth to be truly crisp, coconut, fruity touches, bit herbal, herbal bitterness in the finish. Simplistic after the aroma, but fairly tasty and to be fair, the aroma did settle to a similar profile. I'm not too convinced by the slickness of the mouthfeel in combination with the body as well. Still, one of the better Volbas around... Now, if I can only find this month's... 7/4/6/3/14 Update: Had it on tap at Sibeeria Tap room for the opening event, getting a whiff of butter as well apart from the afore mentioned. 6/4/6/3/13

# 3968; 12/2023. Dark chocolate, roasty, herbal aroma. Opaque dark brown body, copper tint; thick persistent lacing creamy off-white head. Dark chocolate, herbal, resiny, black currant. Well, a good BIPA, but my expectation was higher. 0,4 l, draught, pub (Plzenka), Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

From tap @ Srdcovka Urban Pub. Head is big, tan, good retention. Colour is black, clear and coppery against the light. Aroma is dark malts, light citrus, orange, bit tropical fruits, nice hoppy. Taste is medium malty base, roasted tones, orange, grapefruit, tropical fruits, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, good one, enjoyable.

Draught at Kafe u krtka, Neratovice. Lightly cloudy, dark red to brown colored. AROMA- black currant bon-pari, citrusy, aromatic resins, dark berries, strawberry. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, lightly bitter, strongly blackberries, other dark berries, strawberry, citrusy, resinous. Fuller bodied. Tasty.
