Description
LOC Brewery brews quirky, craft beers that are a voyage of discovery for the taste senses. It is our ambition to conquer the world with this. LOC Brewery wants to experiment with flavours, herbs, fruit and even let beers mature in wooden barrels.

LOC Brewery is an initiative of Roy Maas (he left in 2018), Erwin Schellekens, Daniel Tano and Paul Cools. The four know each other because their children were in the same class, so they met in the schoolyard. In December 2014, LOC Brewery started brewing small amounts of beer. Since then, brewing has accelerated to meet the demand from tastings and events. The first beer was launched in June 2015.

Bottle at home. Clear pale yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma is like a super fruity milkshake. Flavor is similar: incredibly fruity, fruity hoppy, decently bitter. Label says IPL but the flavor is intensely hoppy like like a super hoppy IPA. Lovely.

Bottle at home. 6.4% ABV Sacch Trois IPA says label. not sure what that's supposed to mean. Lightly unclear light orange color, medium sized a bit fizzy bubbly rough white head. Aroma is lightly malty, quite hoppy, appears mosaic hops. Flavor is lightly malts, very nicely hoppy, smooth lightly peachy fruity hoppy. Very pleasant, easy drinkable. Lovely beer.

Bottle from Benzai, many thanks! Pours unclear golden with a airy, white head. Loads of grapefruit in the aroma with a bit of lychee. Taste is grainy and grassy with melon and grapefruit. A bit watery.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, wheat, initially a bit plant like aroma but that's gone fortunately. Still it's a somewhat weird flavor. Unlike previous hopfenweisse I've had. A bit thinnish texture, average body, average carbonation. In the end I must say this is probably the beer I like the least from LOC. Or maybe even one of the first I dislike. Nonetheless, LOC almost always delivers. So I'm still a huge fan. This one however I dislike.
