From tap @ Slovensko pije pivo in Pezinok. Head is white, medium, good retention. Colour is deep gold, light hazy. Aroma is malty, nice hoppy. Taste is medium malty base, nice balanced harmonic bitterness, caramel touch, bit top bitter yet ok, enjoyed.

Can at home, courtesy of Marko, thanks a lot! Pours opaque copper with off-white head. Nose is caramel, sweet notes of malts and booze, and possibly some oxidization too. Taste is moderately bitter with a malty touch in the finish, with some honey and even light booze, but the sweetness fades with time and only the bitterness remains. Light bodied with soft to average carbo, easy to drink. Classic old school IPA, not bad, but pretty one dimensional.

Aroma of pale malt, citrus, light tropical fruits, hops. Flavour is fruity and hoppy with a medium bitter finish. A bit thin and light overall, but very fresh and sessionable. Fine summer beer indeed.

Bottle from HOTM. Pours a cloudy orange-gold with large foamy iceberg white head which takes a while to recced to a drinkable level. Aroma is grainy with big floral aromatic hops, also citrus peel and some spice. Taste again is quite floral and with a herbal like bitterness but there is a nice tangy fruitiness in the middle which balances this beer. Tasty.

500ml bottle. Pours clear gold with a decent frothy head, superb retention. Aroma is malty, fresh grassy and straw hops. Taste is sweet chewy malts with a grassy and herb bitterness, slight zesty tang in the finish as well, some yeastiness. Medium body and carbonation, nice smoothness. This is a cracking pilsner, one of the best I've ever had.

500ml bottle. Clear gold, moderate sized white head, nice retention. Aroma of grains, malts, grass, citrus; fairly fresh in note for a lager. Taste is sweet malts, bread, grainy with a tangy citrus dry bitter finish. Highly drinkable.

330ml bottle. Golden amber, clear, small white head, modest retention. Aroma is malty with a touch of caramel, not detecting much hops. Taste is caramel malts, some grass and light citrus, dry and bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Not one of their best, if they wanted to wider their British customer base through Beer52 they could have opted for a better beer.

330ml bottle. Pours black with reasonable thickness, small beige fizzy head, circular retention. Aroma of liquorice, dark chocolate, roast, a sweet background; good. Taste is semi-sweet, dark chocolate, toffee, liquorice, light roast. Dry finish with a touch of ash. Moderate body and carbonation. Very good.

(Draught at U Slovanské Lipy, Prague, 19 July 2023) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, dark bread and roasted malt. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, chocolate, roasted malt and a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
