Description
The Craft Academy helps craft new talent and unbottle potential by giving young people the chance to earn while they learn about brewing, design, marketing and sales. With the help of experienced mentors, the 18 month course teaches participants industry-specific skills as they work towards a bespoke apprenticeship qualification, all while creating beers under the Craft Academy brand and bringing them to market.
The Florence has a long history of being a brew pub. Formally the home of Head in the Hat brewery; a heritage brewery that proudly called us their home until 2015. Continuing this rich history we are proud to welcome Craft Academy as our new in house brewing team.

Hazy dark brown. Aroma is cocoa ovomaltine star fruit canned peach. Taste is chalky bittersweet cocoa with some fruitiness. Very harsh and hoppy on the tongue. Nice hoppy and chocolatey finish. Also chalky remnants.

33cl bottle from my local Londis. A dark amber pour with a loose cream head; tropical fruit aroma with a touch of pine needle; light toffee taste with a touch of spice; and a malty finish with some dryness. Not bad.
