4 oz. Nice chocolate, melted caramel, roasted grain backbone. Bourbon is no doubt here in the finish. Nice warming after the swallow. No alcohol harshness. 8.8 % is hidden. Real nice sipper!

4 oz. Draft. Flavor has mild chocolate, roast, and earthy tones. Decent body and dry texture. Also has a very light salinity. Ends on dry roast. Nice!

4 oz. Draft. Flavor has sift lemon and herb like bitterness. I am looking for tropical fruit. Even when warm, still looking. Just ok.

16 oz. can. Yes this is indeed old school. For the west coast style IPA, it is fine. Toffee and caramel malt with weak citrus and a bold blast of pine in the finish. Some resin lingers. Breweries are starting to come back around to the west coast style. Not very exciting for my own palate.

Can from the Packie. Lightly hazy deep gold color with a decent fluffy off white head that persists. Big bready caramel maltiness with a bit of spicy alcohol and some olde school citrus and pine to counter.

4 oz. Draft. Aroma reminds me of pineapple and mango. Has a soft tropical character that becomes real bitter in the finale. I don’t even taste lactose. WAY to astringent.

4 oz. Draft. A near clear Golden color. Aroma is malt with mild citrus like hops. Flavor relies heavily on malt and she was very light hop in the finish. Crisp texture with an easy light body. Good.
