Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: golden amber color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which slipped off somewhat quick and barely left any lace
Aroma: light apple cidery to funky to whiskey barrel/woody tart to sour and vinegary-like, subtle Brett/sour-ish tones and a light honey to apricot-ish scent somewhat in there too
Flavor: seems to combine somewhat sour to tart with a woody sweet barrel accent; finishes pretty much the same as the apricot tone comes back in that department
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; light smoothness but some tart sharpness hitting the tongue in an acceptable way
Overall: I'd say a pretty good beer but don't ask me if this is truly a saison. Just try for yourself and enjoy.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: bright amber color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: strawberry sweet and tart tones; light sour notes, subtle lemon, light sweet wafer tones, subtle sweet wheat
Flavor: wraps up the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to tart to sour vibe; finishes strawberry sweet and tart
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also a light invasive sour assertiveness edging the tongue
Overall: if they marketed this as a "fruit beer" I bet it might have done better but to me I don't see the Berliner weisse in it.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: dark brown almost black in color with a two finger eggshell white foamy head which trailed off at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark fruits, caramel/toffee malts, some chocolate notes, light coriander & allspice, dark bread
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet to semi-roasty yet spicy quality; finishes the same way
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to be a sipper; some smoothness but also some grains seemingly getting a little bit assertive on the tongue
Overall: dark saison? Yeah, I think I can see it, somewhat. I think I could come back to this.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: orange-ish to amber color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: slight wheat to caramel; subtle bready to Belgian sweet yet pulling in a subtle Belgian yeasty spicy whiff, light earthy to herbal accent further down in there
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet smooth to Belgian spicy quality; finishes Belgian sweet & spicy
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to be a sipper; some smoothness but also some yeasty spice enacting a light assertiveness to the tongue
Overall: I think I could do this one preferably for me but in trying to rate to style, well, there's something "Belgian-like" going on but maybe not pronounced enough.

Bottle to nonic glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black with a one finger off-white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed chocolate whiffs; slight floral and spicy tones of the rye; light bready quality; light coffee notes
Flavor: captures the prior noted aromas to somewhat blend; finishes semi-rye-like with some light coffee notes
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; light smoothness as the rye seems to not enact much harshness along the tongue
Overall: I was hoping also to find the "sweet" part of the rye but that never showed up and somehow though this beer wasn't watery, it seemed to come close

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: dark amber color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some chestnuts, some earthy to floral tones, light herbal to grassy tones, some allspice and a little bit of funky accent too
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to an odd sweet to funky to earthy quality; finishes herbal, earthy and nutty
Texture: between light and medium bodied, somewhat sessionable? hmmmm, maybe. Light smoothness with the expected dryness on the tongue
Overall: what an odd beer, but I'm not entirely sure if this is a true saison, maybe some sort of conglomeration between one and a Belgian ale where the true saison qualities end up getting pretty muted? Something like that.

Bottle to nonic glass.
Appearance: brown color with a quarter finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: coffee roastiness, milk chocolate, sweet wafer malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to roasty quality; finishes coffee forward with a kiss of chocolate
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness but also some roasty grind on the tongue, nothing offensive, just noticeable
Overall: not a bad coffee brown ale, perhaps I could come back to.
