Can sampled at Free Beer anniversary. Clear deep amber to mahogany. Honey, sugary malts, milk chocolate, light herbal, toffee, whisky. Solid sweet, a but less bitter. Slick oily body.

Can at Free Beer anniversary. Very dark brown. Huge bourbon, booze, coffee, toffee, vanilla, alcohol, cola, more alcohol. Quite sweet, boozy bitter. Full bodied. Noice.

Virtually black with a fleeting, foamy, light brown head. Aroma promises lots of licorice with touches of prunes and amaretto. Taste is moderate sweet up front, mildly bitter at the back, but the finish is on the whole lost under a blanket of raw booze. Full bodied, mild carbonation, a bit oily. Unbalanced—sometimes less is more.

Draft at the duke William Lincoln. Hazy pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are citrus and slightly juicy. Lihhh crisp body.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, like a porter should, with rather fine, light brown foam. Aroma is soft of chocolate, toffee. Body is average, with little carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet, a little toasty. Final is not strong, but fairly lasting.

Really nice hazy session IPA, juicy, drinkable and lots of citrus and tropical fruit. Nice!

Can from Beer Hive. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of tropical fruit and citrus. Taste adds some peach and faint malt. Light bitter finish.

Can from Great Grog. Pours hazy orange with no head. Aromas of lemon yoghurt, light floral and funky notes. Taste is creamy, sour lemon, gooseberry, faint lick of salt at the back. Tangy finish.
