Draught at Diggers (Athletic Arms). Pours golden with gentle bubbles and a decent head. The nose has massive grapefruit pith and pine. The taste has riper grapefruit than the nose and there is a zingy grapefruit ending. The palate is light to medium bodied, it has a creamy texture and a very zingy finish. Overall, a lovely beer that is slightly too drying for me to have more than two, but good all the same. Mind you, this is no lager - it’s somewhere in the golden ale or IPA spectrum.
