On tap @Steb's (Bressanone). Dorata, abbastanza limpida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note di malto, leggero erbaceo. In bocca è abboccata all'attacco con chiusura appena amara, leggermente stantia. Corpo leggero, carbonazione brillante. Non un granché.

Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 13/08/24. Clear golden pour topped with a lasting just off white cap, carbonation evident. Nose is pale malts, grass, herb, grains, faint citric zest. Taste comprises pale malts, biscuit, hedgerow, grass, toasted grains, light breads. Medium to lighter body, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Bottle from Margiotta. Murky golden/bronze body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw and pear. Flavour of wheat, white pepper and subtle spices. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A solid wheat beer.

On tap at Ebenezers, Nantwich. Pours a pale yellow with a slightly greenish tinge. There’s a small white head as well. Not much of an aroma – some hints of continental hops and a little fruitiness. In the mouth it fluctuates between slightly sweet and slightly bitter with some continental hops and grains. Later the sweetness becomes more pronounced – though the bitter undertones return in the weakly fruity finish. This is reasonable and recognisably a lager – but rather nondescript otherwise.

Good yellowish head over crystal clear, lightly carbonated golden beer. Grassy nose, gassy too, green herbs & weeds, "herb". Bitterish, again grassy, but the nice bitterish onset is fast retreating into sweetish-neutral pale malts. Light body, mild carbonation, somewhat lasting flavours. Decent, if middle-of-the-road Bavarian lager.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours mostly clear copper-gold, effervescent, with a creamy, mostly white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of sun-baked wheat, dried banana, a little hay, ripe tangerine, mellow yeast. Light bodied with average carbonation. Modestly sweet finish, more wheat, bready malts. Enjoyable.

Bottle drunk with grilled chicken thighs. Pretty drinkable despite the thin grainy flavor with flat but present hop bitterness. It's alright, like a thin Asian lager but without the alcohol. Pretty refreshing I suppose.
