Bottle (5.2% ABV) from Great Grog. Clear deep golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of earth and plain crisps. Flavour of bread and peppery hops. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. Earthy and satisfying. I’m surprised this doesn’t have better a better score.

Optisch helles Gold, kaum Schaum. In der Nase süß, Getreide. Im Trunk leicht alkoholisch, Getreide, im Aroma ziemlich dünn, seltsam.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - lemon yellow and clear with a thin snow white head. Nose - corn, honey and lemon. Taste - lemon and honey again, a bit lozengey. Some brown bread lurking. Palate - creamy body and medium bodied, needs more bitterness to clear the palate. Overall - ok but needs more refreshment for the style.

Bottle. Dark amber color with medium sized creamy white head, almost disappearing after a while. Aroma is wheat, fruity, caramel. Taste is caramel, wheat. Light body and a bit watery texture, low carbonation. Ok, but far from the best weizen beers.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Beer Merchants Tap. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white topping. Lightly sweet, nice clean pale biscuits, straw, white bread, a nip of cabbage. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Balanced finish, a little bitter hay, crispy biscuits, pale bread. Super drinkable.

500ml bottle at home. It pours clear amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, doughy, grainy, cereal, nutty, honeyed grain and rivita. The taste is crisp, dry, crunchy, bitter - sweet, honeyed grain, hob nob biscuits, cereal, grassy, leafy, nip of spice and some nuttiness with a drying finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not bad.
