50cl Bottle at Brecht. Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet bready malts, light fruity, honey, light grassy. Flavour is likewise, typical malty Helles, light grassy bitter finish. Light bodied. OK.

Bottle from McTapps, many thanks Sabine. Copper color with medium off-white had. Sweet malt, dried fruit, honey in aroma. bready malt, honey, dried fruits, nuts, caramel in taste. Light alcoholic bitterness in finish. Powerful Doppelbock.

500ml bottle. Hazy orangey golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, off-white head. Wheaty, yeasty aroma, hints of banana, a touch of lemon. somehow muggy, tartish, spicy, brine-like yeasty overtones. Taste is moderately sweet wheat malty, slightly bready, hints of banana, some lemon, a herbal, hoppy touch, spicy, yeasty overtones.
