Many thanks to Stefan in the 1st German local swap. Grainy malty beginning. Roast, burned sugars. Dry roasted in the end, not too deep but sessionable and still full bodied. Nice round and smooth, grain with a caramelly burned moderate bitter finish.

Bottle from Edeka in Bad Tölz, consumed at home Attenkirchen, Monday 19th August 2019. Pours hazy dark gold with a white head. Some malt on the nose, a little caramel, this tastes not unlike a UK bitter, simple, easy drinking, light bitterness, restrained hoppiness.

On tap at Tölzer Mühlfeldbräu, Bad Tölz, Bavaria, Germany after a short cycle ride from Lenggriese. Pours murky gold/light amber, with a nice white head atop. Much better than the Summer Version, the wheaty characteristics shine through, banana, a touch of mango, lovely.

On tap at Tölzer Mühlfeldbräu, Bad Tölz, Bavaria, Germany after a short cycle ride from Lenggriese. Pours gold, excellent clarity, busy carbonation, nice white head atop. A very nice Helles, good fruity bite, nice softness, a little dry finish. Simple but elegant.

As Loz mentions the aroma is quite perfumey,it has a nice mouthfeel but perhaps a little too soft. A touch thin, wheat qualities are there but it is perhaps a touch too toned down. Fine.
