750ml bottle from Morrisons. Clear dark gold, two fingers of white creamy head, lovely retention and lacing. Wheat, banana, caramel, some spice. Sweet and fruity, mild bitterness. Medium bodied, slick, frothy carbonation. A classic, very tasty.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Tuulensuu, 20241230) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, grass, marmalade, spicy yeast and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, fruitiness, malts, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste had fruitiness, spiciness and bitterness. A tasty and balanced brew. The sweetness was a little bit too strong.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Dark amber coloured beer under the name of Leffe Kestbier, an sweet coriander taste, not the Dubbel or Radieuse but in between.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Why, why an abbey-beer becomes an fruitjuice added brew. Why i buy this one, curiousity i think. Dark clear red/brownish brew with an load of lemonade juice. Hope all big abbey-brewers copy this brew.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Amber coloured brew from the Behemoth brewery, tastes pretty smoothly sweet and the aftertaste is quite balanced sweetbitter.

Bottle at ZBF’12, Leuven: Copper coloured brew with an great but slightly overwhelming honey smell and taste. AB Inbev abbeybrew especially for the France market, but debute on this beerfestival.
