Bottle. Genuine copper color against the light. Huge frothy beige head. Thinnish. Frothy carbonation. A little heat. Dark flavors. More dry than not. Suggests cola or dark raisins. Finishes dry. Definitely. Good, but not superb

Bottle shared with and courtesy of heavy (thanks!) So, we followed the Triple with the 9. This one was filtered, with a dark coppery gold body and a medium sized thick white head that went away at a medium pace. The nose was remarkably weak... malt and some caramel maybe. Didn’t catch the odd fishy aroma that heavy and his girlfriend caught. The taste was pretty one dimensional. Swet, a bit sticky, grainy malt, alcohol, a touch of sweetish orange. Not offensive, kinda pleasant but too dull.

Bottle shared with and courtesy of heavy (thanks!) 8.5% I think. Poured a murky darker orange body with a medium sized thick white head that went away relatively slowly. Odd nose that I didn’t like much. Some "orange" flavoured cough syrup and alcohol. Ugh. The taste is pleasant if a bit light. Spicey, run of the mill candied orange. Some alcohol... a bit warming. Weak weak herbal hop aftertaste. Not the best solid around but InBev did a pretty solid job with this one. I’d have it again.

26/05 0.33 l bottle from belgianshop.com. It poured orange copper body with medium head. Pretty weak flavor, but what is scented is something weird and definitely not pleasant, like when you passed by fish market. Notes of alcohol with some weak malt as well. Flavor is really rustical. They didn’t even try to hide the alcohol except with some bitterness, coming exactly from combination of alcohol and roasted malt. Finish is pretty nice bittersweet and sharp, but although simple it’s raising overall impression on this beer. Pretty bad, specially for what it is stated to be. Average malt liquor I would say.

26/05 0.33 l bottle from belgianshop.com. Poured hazy orange body with medium head. Standard tripel aroma, a bit harsh banana, orange and some spices. Flavor is bitterish, spicy and fruity, very nice balanced and tasty. Alcohol is well hidden in its creamy, full body, finishing in bitterish spicy way. Much better than I’ve expected, so it makes a good tripel.

330 ml. bottle. Cola color with a decent tan head. Light aromas of dark fruit and roasted malt. Medium body with creamy carbonation.Lightly sweet dark fruit dominates floral bitter. Finishes just a bit sweet. Very enjoyable.

330 ml. bottle. Pours a clear dark copper amber color with a significant beige head. Aroma of rather dark malt with a suggestion of cherry(?) dark fruit. Medium body with fizzy, creamy carbonation. Alcohol is noticeable. The flavor is dark caramel with something like a cherry hop bitter (light cherry). Finishes rather dry, and the bitter builds up. Cherry pits? Some sort of darkish stone fruit. It is very, very good.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty powerfull yeasty and hoppy aroma, full of fruity esters. Moderate biter and sweet flavor. Fruity. Long nice finish. Creamy palate. I like it!
