Description

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a collapsing white head. Aroma is mild caramel malt and yeasty spice notes. Flavour starts sweet before a classic belgian yeast flavour appears. This holds cinnamon, cloves, orange and a mild note of banana as well, complex yet elegant. Ends with a lingering flavour of the same. Nice and mellowly spiced.

(33cl bottle) Almost clear, amber coloured effervescent hue with a thick and persistent off-white foamy head. Sweet and bready malt aroma with a light fruity touch of overripe oranges and obvious alcoholic notes. Sweet flavour, full body with a soft carbonation; bready malt-character with light fruity accents and a sharp alcoholic note, especially towards the finish, which makes it not very pleasant for me.

Pour is a bright golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is deffinatly Belgian yeast and some cloves. Flavor is some banana and yeast with a bit of citrus fruit. Nothing mind blowing going on here but it is still decent. Could be a good session when looking for a Belgian style without the big alcohol punch.

Thanks to Homerwantsbeer for sharing a bottle. The beer is a clear dark brown-amber color with a medium thick and rocky beige head that dissipates slowly. Patches of lacing. Aroma of malt and dark fruit with a touch of barley. Medium, smooth body with malt and nut flavors atop a moderate hops base. Some yeast flavors here and there as well. The finish is roasty with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.
