Bright gold colour, and a thin head. Big strata aroma, bringing herbaceous rosemary and sage notes with a sweet pale malt as well. I love the massive strata on this, the pine, the herbs, this is hitting.

On tap at RidgeWood, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of oily pine, some resins, and grainy malt. Flavour has plenty of piney hops, some resinous oils, and a crisp biscuity malt base. There's a slight grainy character to the malt I could do without. Nicely hopped though and I like the thin malt base. Great stuff.

Dark brown, thin head, medium bitterness, toasty malts, some chocolate. Not much hop expression. This is not the “going for gold” version of the style.

Pale and greyish, medium head. Weak base, but good fruitiness. This needs a helping hand from someone who can mash, because the hop works.

Pale yellow, opaque. Thin head. Soft malt, light fruit, decent hop, not any big distinct character but not bad.

Draft pour pint enjoyed at Tapped, Mill Creek. A delicious crisp, classic IPA with modern, very impressionable hops. Bitter bite, cool citrus, peel, barely floral. Da k nose, with lots of grassy hops. Hop oil bitter bite linger, but remains an overall crisp IPA. Awesome brew.

473mL can. Pours clear pale gold with thing white head. Aroma has dank and floral hops, pine, stonefruit. Flavour has fantastic hop expression: dank, floral, stonefruit and a bit piney. Mouthfeel is robust and oily. Excellent.

473mL can, pours a lightly hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of tangy white wine-like hops, lots of pine, and gentle resinous hop oils. Flavour is wonderfully tangy, with lots of white wine-like tangy hops, pine, some resinous hop oils, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Tangy, piney and bright. This is wonderful.

On tap at WABF 2024, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops galore, with some onion, pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is quite dank, with lots of dank hops, onion, and pine. Oily palate and finish, with plenty of onion and dankness. Good stuff.

Draft pour at WBF, Fisher Pavillion. Somewhat cloudy golden orange pour. Long lasting shell white foam. Inviting aroma with grassy, piney dank hops. Slick taste, moderate piney hop bitterness. Decently aggressive. Bold finish, a touch hop oil, some onion. Coating bitterness. Excellent west coast resinous brew.
