A hazy golden beer with a white head. Aroma of dry grassy hops, pale malt, hay. Taste of mild herbal and grassy hops, pale malt, hay, moderate bitterness.

Unclear golden with a foamy head. Floral and grassy hops, straw, hay, white bread, hints of passion fruit, citrus. Mild dry hoppy bitterness, grainy sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry hoppy grainy finish. Solid Grünhopfenpils.

Bottle from Biershop Bayern. Clear blond colour, white foam. Light sweet, a bit malty, light citrussy. Easy drinkable. Not bad, not good.

Optisch zeigt sich klares tiefes Goldgelb bis helles Bernstein mit feiner bis mittelgroßer Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone wirkt dabei flaumig-stabil und hält mäßig gut. Im Duft getreidig bis brotig malzig, leicht heuig bis würzig hopfig, aber auch etwas muffig. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, gut spritzig, breit malzig, leicht alkoholisch und trocken, würzig herb. Der Körper zeigt eine gute Fülle mit kräftiger feiner Rezenz, geschmeidiger Textur und guter Trockenheit. Geschmacklich und aromatisch hat man getreidige bis brotige Malznoten vor sich. Leicht estrige und alkoholische Noten mischen sich dazu. Das wiederum erzeugt einen etwas überreif-fruchtigen Eindruck, der die leicht trocken-herben Hopfennoten wegdrückt. So wirkt dieses Bier nur mäßig ausgewogen und etwas mastig. Die große Trinkfreude mag dabei jedenfalls nicht aufkommen. Im Nachtrunk fallen die Malznoten rasch ab und eine trockene, wenig aromatische Hopfenbittere breitet sich aus. Mein Fazit: Bayerisches Märzen kann deutlich besser sein.

Gut Forsting Frühlingsfest-Märzen, Flasche von Inn-Getränke, Wasserburg. Das Bier zum Wasserburger Frühlingsfest, abseits vom Festtrubel daheim verkostet. - Kupfergold, blank. - In der Nase sattes getreidiges Malz mit leichter Karamelnote, etwas Toastbrot, ein wenig Butter und Honig und mild-aromatische orangeatig-hopfenwürzige Hopfung. - Antrunk satt getreidig hellmalzig mit dezenter Karamelnote, feiner Bonbonsüße und eher milder herbal-hopfenwürziger Grundierung. Milder rezent, vollmundig aber etwas hart. Im Abgang feine orangenherbe und herbale Hopfenbittere. - Brauchbares Märzen, etwas glatt zwar aber angenehm gehopft. (11.6.2024.)

Clear yellowish. Aroma is light sticky malt with noble hops, a but grassy. Taste is rich sticky malt with good hop bitterness. Pretty balanced and with a nice body. Pretty drinkable.Nothing wrong here.

Bottle purchased and consumed at Bierkiste, München Tuesday 19th December 2023. Pours almost clear gold there is the tiniest bit of haze, mid sized sticky white head. A lovely Pils, nice aroma, grassy hops, good carbonation leading to some hoppy burps. Crisp, fresh and clean tasting Pils, dry finish.
