Taster at brewery. Hazy yellow, thin head fades. Aroma is fruity, stone fruit, tropical. Taste is more fruit, dry and bitter. Very fruity up front.

Taster at brewery. Cloudy dark golden, skin of head, lacing. Aroma is sweet and malty, fruity, apple. Taste is malty, caramel, fruity, bitter, and light apple. Not your ordinary ESB.

Taster at brewery. Clear golden, small foamy head. Light sweet, biscuit aroma, touch of citrus. Taste is sweet, clean, crisp. Lemony on the back end.

Draught at Power Beer Fest, 5/14/22. Moderately hazy, rather pale, lemony-brass-golden with a small, moderately-well-retained, white head. A lot more piney/resinous character in the nose than expected for the hops used. Some light pineapple, with earthy, almost peppery notes, as well. Sparse, almost non-existent malting. No alcohol or flaw. Completely flat texture. Just tastes like dough/white bread with zero depth/sweetness. Very little in the way of bright, juicy or interesting hops. A lot of astringent bitterness and super low flavor. Beer was served exceedingly cold, to be fair, but I don't think that was the problem. Very disappointing as I normally love these guys' beers.

Crowler thanks to Anthony. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is roasted malt and cocoa. Slick body, cocoa, roast, cracker, dry finish, good.

Draught at the source: ruby brown with beige head. Aroma is typical chocolate and coffee notes. Taste is lightly sweet, low bitterness. Body is low carbonation. Easy to chug. Solid.
