(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20240517)The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain, malts and honey. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, grain, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy and bitter. Pleasant.

50cl Fles van De Bierkoning. Licht amberkleurig, vuilwitte kraag. Moutig, rokerig, medium zoete geur, fruitig, mineralen, grassig, degelijk bitter, naar de finish iets dun. Lichte body. Prima.

500 ml tapped, this is the unfiltered version. Unclear golden with a creamy head. Grapefruit zest, resinous herbal hops, metallic notes, sourdough, stone fruit, hay. Hoppy zesty bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, hoppy zesty metallic bitter fruity finish. A very crisp hoppy Kellerbier, very tasty!
