Bayerische Anstich at Zum Franziskaner. A bit dark golden with a white head. Malt, grass, floral hops and bread. Quite bitter.

Bottle at Zapfahn Bamberg. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Now that is a tasty helles. After the Sonne Hell which is all clean lemon this is a little dirtier. Some more malt character. Hops are a mix of white and black pepper. Its OK interesting but a little metallic on the finish. Doesn't set thd heart racing but it's decent. Some character.

Tap @Luppolo Station in Rome. Orange-amber clear pour with creamy off-white cap. Nose malty biscuits, yeasty. Mouth is rather bitter in a malty-caramel overall body. Peculiar.

Tap at HopDog. Clear golden amber. Malty, autumn apples. Sticky sweet, nice bitterness to balance it out. Full. Drinkable.

(Draught at Protokoll, Berlin, 20 Apr 2023) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of bread, toast and caramel. Malty, roasted taste with bread, toast, caramel, raisins and a mild herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Harmonious and well balanced. Very nice.
