Panda at home thanks to Ed Danlo. Aclear golden yellow coloured pour with a small halo of white head. Aroma is spicy apple funk, bark , sniff of vinegar, earthy apple. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody apple pips, spicy funk, mild burn, woosy earthy apple. Palate is semi sweet, moulty woodytannin, fine carbonation. Nice barrel tannin. funky apple.

750ml bottle from Old Shoe Bar, Sheffield. Clear bright orangey gold colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of wood barrel, acetic hints, citric rind, soured apple. Taste is tart, tangy, fleshy apple, with acetic funk notes, wood barrel, oak, vanilla, sherry hint, some tannin, citric rind and mellow acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry soured acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.

750ml bottle from Old Shoe Bar, Sheffield. Hazed golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruity, funk, barrel. Taste is tangy, tart, apple, fruity, with wood barrel & sharp acetic funky notes, along with some citric acidity and tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart and tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

750ml bottle from Caps & Taps. Orangey amber-gold colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of rich apple, wood barrel, smokey hint, bourbon. Taste is sweetish, tangy, acetic funky, leather, apple, orchard floor, with bourbon barrel, oak, and drying bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry funky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 14/09/23. Deep golden to copper with a fast escaping white head. Nose is sharp apple, peated notes, hay bale, orchard wood, caramelised apples. Taste comprises bitter apples, toffee, burnt sugars, oak, vinous, tannins, mellow peat, apple pie scorch. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Solid flavoursome stuff.

7/8/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours slightly hazy dark golden amber with minimal head. Aroma is woody, peaty, whisky, musty apple, petroleum jelly. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a slight tart edge. Medium body, smooth, low carbonation. Very dry woody peaty finish. Enjoyable.

750ml bottle from Caps & Taps. Orange gold colour, no head and aroma of apple, islay cask whisky, peaty, phenolic. Taste is sweet, mellow apple, ripe fruity, with drying notes of whisky barrel, peat, phenols, wood, oak, citric, alittle funk and some bittersweet tannin. Smooth oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering peaty islay cask with the dry tannic finish. Very drinkable.
