The bottle looks simple, but also a bit confused. Beer in the glass like a fine hefeweizen, turbid, creamy foam. Tastes fresh and fruity, like lemon, modest yeasty, spicy finish. Good beer! Thanks to joss for the bottle!

The bottle looks good, a little bit complex. The beer in the glass is okay. Starts a bit moldy, only modest fruity, too sourish. The finish is dusty and dry, not very yeasty. There are better hefeweizens! Big thanks to joss for the bottle!

Bottle. Cloudy yellow, off-white rocky head, some yeast chunks. Spicy, light dusty nose, clove and vanilla up front. Fairly lightbodied and dry, a bit flour, spices, banana. Dry, sparkly. Quick finish.

Huge, very fine & dense just off-white head over fully hazy orange beer. Spicy, clove or allspice, but also coriander; banana and faint citrus; wheat - slightly milk-ripe wheat. Fruity, grainy, and spicy - and again I get both clove and a coriander impression. Sweetish and a very discreet acidity. Medium bodied, classic wheat slickness. Very middle-of-the-road Weizen, bland.

Draught Medium, dense yellow head with shards of lace over fully hazy, yellow-orange beer with Grünstich Yeast, pale malts, smells as (very) young beer. Very yeast-intoned nose, with the yeast all in suspension, but obvious noble Ge hops and pale malts. Very little saturation but the head keeps the MF creamy. Medium bodied, grist (yeast) slickness. Young but nice, and very easily drinkable, refreshing - way better than the bottled. Old rating, bottled; was: 4/4/5/3/11// 2.7/5Very bubbly, hazy yellow beer with greenish shine and small white head. Initially H²S nose - volatile, but all the same... Later a nose of raw green peas, vegetable. Some pale malts; Again vegetable, going to soft-sweet, citrussy, and even cucumber (greenmalt?). Chalk retronasal - strange. I get some faraway acidity too. Spritzy MF, light bodied. Reasonably refreshing. Can’t find it very enjoyable, I’m afraid. Thanks, all the same, joss!

Good cream-coloured head, fine, over hazy foxy-orange beer. Vegetable nose, even vegetable oil; oily, coloured malts with some caramel and some fatty acids; laurel. Sweetish, cornlike but with spicy hoppy overtones; again laurel, pepper, peanuts, autumn leaves, caramel, oranges. Medium bodied at best, lightly spritzy. Reasonable, but not totally faultfree. Danke, Joss!

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, orange golden colour with a huge and dense foamy white head. Yeasty, lemon-fruity nose with a touch of mandarins, supported by worty malty notes and traces of woody hops. Yeasty and worty malty taste, subtle fruity with notes of vanilla; Flavours are a bit on the sweet side, especially towards the finish, which is furthermore yeasty and malty with a light but balancing hops character (12.09.07).

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, murky brown colour with a short off-white foamy layer. Sweet and yeasty, slightly worty and toasted malty nose with shy notes of toffee and traces of herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour, quite slim bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly toasty and a bit greenish malty taste with light notes of toffee; sweetish and slim malt-accented finish with light hoppy notes. Rather unconvincing (30.10.07).
