About
History: Giesinger started as a garage brewery in Munich-Birkenau in 2006. In 2007, 300 hectoliters of beer were produced and sold in Birkenau. In 2009 we already produced an impressive 750 hectoliters of beer in our small backyard brewery. When we finally reached the magic limit of 1,000 hectoliters for the first time in 2011, the premises in Birkenau were completely exhausted. A new location was needed and found in the neighbourhood of Munich-Giesing. The new brewery opened in 2012 and continued to grow, therefore a second facility was opened in 2018.
Suddenly "big" entrepreneur: Today we have 20 fermentation and storage tanks in our brewery. Giesinger became Munich's second largest private brewery almost overnight: With our current brewing plant, we can produce up to 12,000 hectoliters of beer per year, and after the opening of the second brewery even more.

Aroma of hay, cereals, flowers, grass, pine, some herbs, some bread. Tastes similar, a bit more bready.
A bit creamy mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes crisp, medium bitter, cerealic, floral, grassy, herbal, bready, slightly piney.
Really quaffable, rustic style example, with quite some complexity and quite a lot of hops. Really decent!

Aroma of grains, pale bread, flowers, citrus, some herbs, some sweet malt. Tastes similar.
Medium mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes moderately sweet, a bit bitter, quite hoppy, fliral, citric.
Really solid alc free Lager, clean and well balanced, with some nice citric hop notes.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma is orange jam and caramel on top, grains and floral hints underneath. Taste is bitter the whole way through. Lingering bitter finish with a touch of spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, nice chewiness. Goes down easy with no sign of the alcohol. Good one.

Bottle from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy deep amber body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel and cola. Flavour of toffee, herbs and brown sugar. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and simple. It’s good lacks the depth of the very finest doppelbocks.
