Suddenly "big" entrepreneur: Today we have 20 fermentation and storage tanks in our brewery. Schöne gelbe, sehr trübe Farbe. Cremiger Schaum. Sieht schon mal sehr gut aus. Zitroniger Geruch.

dark golden colour, moderate sized dense, ecru-ish head; aroma of grassy, lemongrassy, hay, grainy, some floral and herbal notes; taste of a well-balanced lager with fruity--apple peel-like and similar notes to the aroma, as well as some spiciness in the aftertaste; good one!

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a footed pilsner glass. Hazy pale golden colour, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Lemonade-like aroma, pale malt, citrus, grain, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, citrus, grass. Light body, watery to sticky texture, soft carbonation, okay.

Bottle at home from the Beer Shop in Hitchin. Great pour and looked lovely in the glass. This is a classic example of the style with rich sweet malts and well balanced hops. Really good

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a lacing, white head. Sweet, malty aroma. Rich, sweet maltiness but never sticky. Just sufficient hops for balance. 241025

A deep golden yellow to light amber-colored with white, fine-pored head of foam that lasts moderately well. The aroma is strongly malty, richly grainy and doughy-bready. A strong and full malt aroma also dominates. Slightly estery apple notes beckon from the background, but these do not affect the fresh character of this beer. The hops hardly play a role and only have a slightly spicy note that blends excellently with the malty components. The mouthfeel can be described as soft, fresh, almost creamy and full-bodied. It even leaves your lips slightly sticky. Absolutely typical of the style! The malt notes dominate the aftertaste too, although after a while a slightly dry, classic hop aroma with a delicate bitterness sets in. This calls for another sip and the drinkability is enormous.
This beer invites you to drink more than just a half pint. This full-bodiedness, this strong malt aroma and the incredibly high drinkability make this beer definitely one of the best in its style.
