I wrote CDA on the flight card and the barnan asked me what that stood for. Oh well. Draft at the CLT brewery. Black color tan head nice lacing. Aroma of burnt brownies. Taste is burnt pine in burnt coffee. Pretty good attempt of this style, rarely seen in this area.

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is full of raison and toffee. Flavor is more dark fruit some chewy roasty almost nutty malt. A little thin for the style but this is a showcase of the dark malt with a nice yeast leaving some treacle and dark fruit on the tongue.
