A black beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has liquorice, light fruitness and pine. Taste has the same liquorice and light fruitness. Medium bodied. Nicely balanced.

Supposed to be a gin and tonic beer. Quite strange but not bad.

"super bitter" but it's no De Ranke

aroma of Belgian wild ale with some fruity esters going on, very nice, well mellow and blended, still yeasty notes and some funk. Flavor is very peppery, belgian style sour ale, with some of the more bacterial kind of citrussy sourness you'd find in US wild ales, also a lot of bitter grapefruit fruit peel going on. Overall the flavor is decent enough, not so sour as to scare anyone off, but also quite messy and not really refined enough to make me look forward to the rest of the 75cl bottle I just opened.

large bottle. tasted 2024-apr-23 nice slightly funky slightly leathery aroma that leads me to think of oranges and clementines. yeasty notes just when opened. Flavor is quite sour with a citrussy dominance, quite clean though, and quite US sour'ish. more US citrussy than the traditional belgian sours, also very clean, refreshing.

Ikke helt edruelige notater fra en hyggelig kveld på Våland, med Johan og Egil. Egil har for lengst åpnet importkofferten, og stemningen er deretter. Nå en 0,33 flaske: lett uklar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Aroma av havregrøt, gulost og urter. Smak av gress/høy/solvarme urter og gressløk. Mer interessant enn god, men et nytt bryggeri er alltid en ekstra bonus.

Can shared with Johan and Holmen1 at Vaaland 21.04.24. Cloudy pale straw colour. Some white head. Aroma ans taste of raw hops, pumpkin, chives, leeks and loads of bitter citrus.

Clear brown beer, big creamy beige head, unstable, falls down quickly, a little stable, a little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: malty start, some chocolate, yeasty, banana, grains, a little sweet impression. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, lots of chocolate, malty, banana, yeasty. Aftertaste: malty, sweet, a bit sugary, more chocolate, malty, yeast, a little oxidized, more chocolate, lovely!

As train beers go, fairly decent. Clear yellow/golden pour with a stable white head. Aromas of mango, pine, malt/grain. Taste is similar, adding some herbs for a decent, bitter finish.
