12 oz. can, thanks to Tim! Pours a hazy, orange color, with a medium, foamy, off-white head. The aroma is papaya, rose water, orange juice, butterscotch, and light spruce. Sweet and sugary, with a sticky, fair bitterness. Medium body, crisp, and clingy. Reasonable and interesting, but not great.

12 oz. can, 6.5% ABV, Canned on: 07/18/22
AROMA: Slightly sweet with a touch of sourness. Scents of mango and pineapple are predominantly what I get. However, there is a faint scent of coconut too.
APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy copper-orange with a very tall, white head that dissipates slowly and has moderate lacing.
TASTE: Smooth, soft, and sweet, with flavors of pineapple, pine, and a touch of coconut in the finish. The flavors are soft, and slightly muddled, with no real distinction between them. While I find the overall flavor to be quite pleasant, I would prefer it if things were a bit more distinct.
MOUTHFEEL: Full-bodied with a very soft and smooth texture. Carbonation is slightly above average. I have to say that I don't think I've ever experienced a beer that felt so soft on the palate. I would even go so far as to say that it is "pillowy" soft. Which I find to be a little disorienting, but I also kinda like it. Go figure.
OVERALL: I am somewhat perplexed by this beer, in that, I can't seem to make up my mind whether I like it or not. On the one hand it is sweet with tropical fruit flavors and a very nice mouthfeel. On the other hand, the flavors are muddled together and they seem almost too soft. In fact, it reminds me of one of those tropical fruit juice blends that only has the low-acidic fruits in them (e.g. banana, mango, passion fruit, etc.), and then a low-IBU IPA was added to it. Of course, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Which is why I'm having a hard time deciding if I like it or not. One thing is for sure, I don't hate it. I'm just not sure if I would buy it again. Well, I have 5 more cans waiting in the fridge. Hopefully, I'll come to a conclusion before I finish the last one.

Can (2/28/22) pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks, John! It's a very, very dark brown--almost-opaque--with light sparkle, thin cap of beige head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong sweet and roasted earthy malts, dark chocolate. Taste mirrors aroma. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, fairly standard but a little bit of nuance.

Can from ABC in Cape Coral enjoyed at home. Pours a solid dark brown with a creamy tan head that persists. Chocolate roast and caramel balanced with some earthy pine hops.

12oz can. Filtered tan body, not much of an aroma. Doesn't really taste like a Tripel, closer to malt liquor or a Strong Pale Lager. Pretty shabby for the style.

Draft: Poured a golden with a white head. Aroma is grain, light sweet, grassy, fruit. Taste was nice refreshing grain, crisp and enjoyable on hot Flo Rida day.

12 oz. can. Thanks Bob! Pours a cloudy gold color with an eggshell colored head and good retention. Very good lacing. Hoppy aroma with some background citrus. Flavor is basic bitter hops with only a hint of grapefruit, and a very dry finish. Medium body. Average carbonation and average bitterness.

12 oz. can. Thanks Bob! Pours a cloudy orange-gold color with a khaki head and fair retention. Decent lacing Aroma of soured malts. Tastes like soured malts too, mixed with Belgian yeast and a hopped finish. Yuck. Not a fan of this style. Medium body and medium carbonation. Low bitterness. At least the 9.2% ABV is invisible. Tick.

Well, for an IPA, this is rather light for an IPA at less than 6%, no? Fairly clear pale but I think it may have a slight haze. Smell is slight diesel on a otherwise mild hop perfume. Taste is not totally bastardized IPA but it is big and bitter. No mistakin this is IPA and nit an APA. Difficult and yet there is some lemon peels in there. In the end there is a tad of sharp phenolic in there, but not much.
