Bottle sample at Lueken's Liquors during RBWG 2015. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Well balanced IPA, clean and dry, lightly pithy, some pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish. Tasty IPA.

Sampled during RBWG 2015 - Tampa and St. Pete. Pours rich black-brown with a fluffy, beige head. Nice chocolate character, roast, ash, scorched earth. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Dry and ashy finish, some baking cocoa. Nice one.

Pineapple and some light marmalade. Golden amber pour with good head. Ok malt. Bitter finish with some hop tang. Can.

Pour is a clear gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is bubblegum and fruity yeast esters with a decent amount of hops. Flavor is nice and fruity with a large bitterness. Finish leaves some graininess on the tongue. This was a pretty decent tripel. Plenty of fruity ester but maybe a bit to bitter to be completely true to the style.

Can. Pours a dark brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of bread and light chocolate with a roasted malt backbone. Flavor combines bread and chocolate notes with some roasted malts coming through in the finish.
Gnarly dankness, been forever since I had a resiny dank west coast, piney bitter forward and surprisingly smooth finish

Scored this brain scrambler at total wine and more for $2! How about that?? A near 10% brew for $2 a can? Its got to be some rude tasting brew, like a cheap malt likker or something? Just asking. Nice mild aroma. No sign of the volatility within. Taste is certainly volatile, but it has no indication of the alky content within. Not bad, truly a belgian trippel in the style of the old country trippel. You don't find many domestic trippels make with such civility. Yes, most come across like barley wines and this does not. Its somewhat cloudy and pale. Taste is fair and blended with strong brew. It so much in a single can. Its just a big blast in the ass. Yes, not bad overall, good job coppertail. BTW, it also has a good co2 level that comes thru clear to the end. One of the better high alky beer brews I've had in a while.

16oz can enjoyed while making dinner, I like lagers while cooking. Bright gold e yellow and white head. Nose is faint citrus, yeast, grains. Tastes the same. Crisp enough.
