Pours a dark brown almost black body, absolutely no head. Sweet cherry, plum and some caramel in aroma. Flat carbonation and slick. Tastes of dark fruits and malt, but I find the cherry most noticeable also in the flavour. It feels a bit like drinking juice, in spite of an ABV of 5,1-5,2. Draught, shared with Stefan at Hell Hunt, Tallinn 24.Oct.09.

500 ml bottle, shared with Stefan in Tallinn 21.oct.09. Mahogany coloured body with white head that disappears quickly and leaves no lacing. (This might be due to the toothglass I used for sampling). Sweet malty aroma, with a whiff of yeast. Surprisingly tame. In combination the flavour of overripe plums and flat carbonation are not really fortunate as it tastes too much like juice. The finish has a hint of bitterness to it, as of plum-peel. The beer is not really offending, though. It is just a bit too sweet and uninteresting.

500ml bottle shared at the grand rating session of Estonian beers in Tromsø. Golden body, quickly diminishing, white head, reduced to a filmy layer. Smell of juniper and resin. Pronounced taste of resin and juniper berries, but shortage of hops. Thin to medium bodied. Quite refreshing. Unusual tasting beer, with some interests (Thanks to Stefan and Elisabeth for the bottle, 27.10.2009).

Medium white lasting head. Yellow body. Grainy sugary aroma with rye notes. Dry-acidic grassy apple taste with vegetable notes. Mid-to-thin body. Dusty unclean mouthfeel. Dryish grainy sulphury aftertaste with grassy herbal notes. Not too bad, but unclean. (0.5l bottle, Tallinn.)

Bottled (thanks SaintMatty!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is lots of lemon, spices and some mild grainy notes. Flavour is quite much the same with wooden notes. Extremely boring.

Medium yellowish brown head doesn’t last. Dark brown translucent body. Sugary herbal caramelly aroma with grainy notes, somewhat disharmonic. Swet caramelly licorice marzipan taste with herbal christmas spice. Mid-bodied. Smoothish mouthfeel. Sweet caramelly licorice herbal aftertaste. Bitterness totally lacking. (0.5l bottle from some Tallinn grocery store.)

Big beige coarseish head. Dark red body with vigourous carbonation. Mealy fruity grainy aroma with sugary notes. Sweetish dry watery mealy roasty wild berry taste with strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Smooth, buttery mouthfeel. Dry strawy roasty aftertaste with vegetable notes. It’s not bad, but certainly not good, either. (0.5l bottle from some Tallinn grocery story.)
