KeyKeg at Pig's Ear. Very hazy gold beer, decent white head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally crispness. Light smooth malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. A little floral sweetness into decent hoppage. The Motueka lime comes through and the Taiheke provides crisp tangerine and mandarin. A light and crisp finish. Nicely done. Much to like here.

Waxed (:sigh:) can that jmgreenuk shared with us most generously! And thanks Beese I reckon! Murky dark brown body, almost no head, which is off-white. Creamy milk chocolate and cherry, sweet orange and coconut in the aroma, lovely! The taste, creamy again but lean enough to be drinkable, repeats the milk chocolate, coconut and fruity notes the aroma promises. Excellent!

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, a slightly thin creamy sweetness. Light cooling pine, a mild savoury skunk. Some pleasant if slightly mild Nelson grape and very mild gooseberry. Just delighted to find any of these characteristics in this hop these days. Light crispy finish, very mild hop spice. A good Nelson show by 2024 standards.

440ml can from my son for my birthday and shared in Kuala Lumpur! Poured almost black in colour with a round bubbly off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, sugary. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a big, smooth, rich, sweet sugary, oily, boozy, light liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.
