Thanks, Tom. Aroma is toffee, oak, Taste is nice, sweet toffee, caramel, lightly toasted wood, with a balanced smooth finish.

Can (1/10/25) from Liquor Junction, Reading. Orange juice with nice sparkle, decent head with excellent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is mostly orange creamsicle with a little bit of herb thrown in. Taste is generic citrus, strong apricot followed by late orange. Smooth, creamy texture, medium body, average carbonation and dry, crisp finish with yeasty, minimally bitter finish. Pretty nice.

Can (1/6/25) pour from Liquor Junction, Reading. Lightly hazy golden yellow with tons of sparkle, thin cap of head with excellent retention and tons of lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, yeast. Taste is strong and as aroma. Smooth, frothy, creamy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with mild bitterness. They get the most out of a pale Lager but, at the end of the day, it's a pale Lager.

Can at home. Dark brown pour. Nose is dark fruits and molasses. Tastes similar of figs, dates, raisin, caramel. Woody cedar, plum molasses. Decent body. Quite plea sat.

Can from Andover Classic Wines. Opaque, dark yellow with tons of sparkle, large head with excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong orange, dark fruit, berry, mild pine. Taste is strong dark fruit, berry, citrus, pine. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, juicy finish as taste with mild yeasty bitterness. Sneaky good!

Can from Andover Classic Wines. Lightly hazy amber-red with nice sparkle, thin, fizzy head with poor retention, trace lacing. Aroma is strong caramel, raisin, toffee, butterscotch. Hint of oak only as it warms. Taste is strong initial cherry/dark fruit, then caramel, background suggestion of cedar, late hint of oak. Smooth texture, average carbonation, vague alcohol presence, finish as taste. Not getting too much in the way of oak/cedar but this is lovely in its own right. Why don't I have this style more often?

Draft at Central Provisions in Portland, Maine. The willebecher pour is brown amber with a limited off white head. The aroma is soft roast malt, caramel malt and a nice toasted nuttiness. The taste is caramel malty, lightly sweet, the toast and finishes with a hint of the nuttiness. The palate is medium bodied soft carbonation and a clean toasty malt nutty finish. Solid, was great with the excellent food at Central Provisions.

Undated, unlabeled can, which is weird for a rotating hop IPA...drunk 3/5/25.
Heavily hazy/turbid, muted bronze. Large, creamy, dense, off-white head.
Juicy guava and passion fruit with biscuit, cracker, light mineral and melon. Light acidity, but certainly quite understated and easygoing overall.
Just like the HBC1019 version, there is basically zero bitterness. It's chewy, soft, somewhat bland with dull oat and dull wheat-like character. A touch of sugariness on the finish. Just no where near the flavor I expect from 7%, although there's nothing problematic going on.
