Super hazy, dark straw and honey coloured body with a very thick, five to six centimetre tall tan and off-white head that gets pretty large-bubbled, but looks better than what was I was expecting. Aroma of light oranges, some pungent bitterness from the alpha acids of the hops and a good, slightly biscuity scent from the malts. Medium-bodied; Rcih caramely and pitted fruits show at first with a ton of malt and relatively rich grainy notes, but an orangey, mango finish from the fruits that don't seem to give way from the deep character. Aftertaste is very crisp, quite citrusey with a great pungency and strong metallic bitterness, but the complete package is very nice here, too. The hops bitterness shines through, as does the citrusey and grassy finish of the alpha acids here. Overall, a decent enough, quite bitter, pungent and strong beer with a great bitterness from the alpha acids of the hops, but balanced nicely with the malt here and showing a good complexity at the end. Good to sample and even better that it was super fresh - get this from Oklahoma City if you can! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Oklahoma City (Nichols Hills), Oklahoma on 09-January-2023 for US$2,17 sampled at my house here in Washington on 08-February-2023.

A 12 oz can located on the shelves of Freeman’s Liquor in OKC last month. A local beer from the city, it’s what I was wanting to find. My chalice glass receives the pour and I determine an opaque, orange-yellow body completed by a thin amount of off-white foam. I find the smell to be, well, interesting. Citrus, tropical fruit and white bread, appears to be a conglomeration of styles. A sip now, ah, I think it is decidedly and blessedly west coast. Apricots, hops, grain, some lemon, varnish, crackers and a touch of honeydew. Some bitter and some sweet, not bad. Decent little beer I have here.

Strangeways. Cold & they wont shut the front door. Hazy, dull, pale orange, lingering froth. Pulpy oj nose with an herbal backdrop. Pithy yet juicy, semi-sweet oj, white onion, heavy bitter rind finish. Low volume CO2, easy abv. Definition of juicy.

Pour is a cloudy blonde with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is banana and clove yeast. Flavor is bubblegum sweet with some wheat malt and a little banana after taste. This was just OK. Going in the right direction just a little thin around the edges.

Colorful label on this 16 oz can that came from the city's only craft beer store. I pulled out my New Belgium snifter earlier for tonight's tastings and make the pour. A totally hazy, gold-orange liquid with an off-white top of lacey foam. The scent tilts towards tropical with just a bit of citrus. I take a drink and get mango, cantaloupe, grass and orange peel. Above average for the style, it's just that I am over NE IPAs.

I have a 12 oz can from Mr. T's fine craft beer shop that is stamped with an apparent born-on date of 5/30/23. Another hot and dry day in West Texas, I believe I am ready to sample an IPA. The tab is popped and I tilt the can into a Cowtown tulip glass. I determine a milky, lemonade colored liquid completed by a lengthy head of very fine, very white bubbles. I smell honeydew melon and citrus. The taste is interesting, yes, I can say that. Slightly dank, grapefruit, still some melon but less intense than the nose, hops and malt. There is a decent bitterness at the finish, I appreciate that. A decent diversion.

Hazy, frothy, ok goblet pour @Thirsty's. Weak orange, a little yellow onion, soft herbal nose. Kinda weak all around here. Subtle orange juice sweetness upfront but it goes all pith fast. Very slight herbal floral & saline, a little paper, but the OJ lingers. Soapy finish. It's not as astringent as grapefruit & is appreciated. Okay-ish, but very tired of hazies.
