12 oz can purchased at Harry’s Liquors in Leawood, Kansas. Canned 8/16/17 printed on bottom of can - 9 days old when consumed. The pour is a cloudy orange golden with a well formed and lasting foamy off white head. The aroma is brightly fresh orange citrus, resin, and a hint of pine. The taste is fresh orange and tangerine citrus, bitter peel, resin pine and clean cracker malt towards the back. The palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, soft carbonation and a dry, citrus bitter resin finish. Nice mineral to the finish as well. Really fresh, clean flavors.

Poured from a 16 oz can. Aroma is fairly fruity with quite a bit of passion fruit and some lighter mango and melon. Light citrus with a bit of a dank, resin note. Medium light cracker notes and some hints of biscuit. Pours a fairly hazy, dull, dark straw color with a medium large, thick,, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with moderate cracker make notes and some hints of biscuit and caramel. Medium bitterness with a hint of alcohol. Moderate passion fruit notes with some melon and mango. Some medium citrus notes and a bit of resin. Lingering bitterness and passion fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent IPA but it’s lacking in the flavor. Malt profile finishes a bit flat. The hop profile isn’t quite right to support all the passion fruit either. Good, but not great.

Poured from a 16 oz can. Aroma has some medium light grain notes with some light cracker and caramel notes with moderate wheat notes. Fairly hoppy with some citrus notes with orange and tangerine. Medium light mango, passion fruit, and papaya notes. Some light dank notes. Pours a hazy, pale, dull, golden orange with medium large, thick, pillowy, white, head that shows really nice retention as it slowly recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some light cracker malt notes, medium light caramel and medium light wheat notes. Moderately strong bitterness with moderately strong hop notes. Lots of orange and tangerine with some mango, papaya and passion fruit. Lingering wheat and hop resin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer. The malt profile is a bit weird with nice wheat notes, but the caramel notes conflict. A bit too bitter, but some decent hop flavors and aroma.
